The 11 crew members aboard the International Space Station are conducting a crew swap on 5 October 2026, as four new Crew-13 members adjust to microgravity while four Crew-12 members prepare to return to Earth. NASA ISS Station Report and NASA both reported that the combined crew has been packing and unpacking two SpaceX Dragon spacecraft docked to the Harmony module of the orbital station. [1][2]
The crew members are also preparing for incoming cargo mission activities while managing orbital operations. Expedition 75 began on 26 July 2026 with the departure of Soyuz MS-28, when NASA astronaut Jessica Meir took command of the space station. [1][2][4]
Expedition 75 is the 75th long-duration mission to the space station and is scheduled to end on 1 April 2027 with the undocking of Soyuz MS-29. The mission focuses on scientific research in biology, human physiology, physics, and materials science, alongside routine maintenance and upgrades to station systems. [4]
