NASA announced that SpaceX will launch the 35th Commercial Resupply Services mission, known as CRS-35, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The uncrewed cargo mission is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, according to Hoodline, with FOX 35 Orlando reporting that the launch could create a visible space jellyfish effect and sonic booms over Central Florida. [1][6][7]

NASA News and NASA Science both reported that the mission will carry multiple scientific experiments focused on human health, plant health, and drug-resistant organisms to the International Space Station. These investigations aim to advance research that benefits life on Earth while protecting astronaut health during long-duration space missions. [1][5]

According to NASA News, the payloads include four specific investigations from the agency's Biological and Physical Sciences division. The mission will fly from Space Launch Complex 40 under a cargo resupply contract operated by SpaceX for NASA. [1][8]

The flight is part of SpaceX's ongoing series of uncrewed logistics deliveries under the Commercial Resupply Services program. The scientific experiments will be integrated into the space station laboratory environment upon arrival to support long-term spaceflight research. [1][8]
